Meal #poetry

At no point should anyone,

Be hungry for a meal,

It’s hard to know that sadly though,

This is now all too real…

All that? You’ll burst mate

If I had one last meal,

The last before I die,

I think I’d choose a pizza,

Or some chicken deeply fried,

I could order up some ice cream,

With lychees on the side,

Or bacon, cheese and ketchup,

Or brown sauce as I’ve tried,

Keebabs or chicken curries,

With rice the pilau kind,

Or fresh fish grilled quite simply,

They say it helps the mind,

But then what off some spare ribs,

Or steak or home made pie,

I think that I might eat that much,

That I’d simply have to die.
