I wander past an empty bin,

Whilst there’s litter on the floor,

Perhaps in their wretched lives,

They’ve not seen a bin before

Detritus floods the high street,

Nobody seems to care,

They walk on by and leave it,

As if it wasn’t there,

But can you just imagine,

If you just picked up one bit,

And then the next day did the same,

A target we might hit,

For if we all do take this step,

The difference would be clear,

It all starts off with just one piece,

Detritus disappear.
