Poet-tree

I sat with pen inside my palm,

The words I write, they cause no harm,

At times they’re dark, and others light,

Depends upon my mood, that’s right,

I write to please, no single one,

Once written then my work is done,

My mind treks on, a whirling bird,

‘Til next time embrace all absurd.
